From Grand Rapids to MALMÖ

Grand Rapids to Malmö is a mural of silhouettes from my two- week study abroad in Sweden and Denmark; it focuses on the cities of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Malmö, Sweden. My concept for From Grand Rapids to Malmö was to show the progressions in these cities. Grand Rapids has a progression that flows from pure nature to industrial/ big city. Malmö has a completely different progression of old medieval buildings to highly designed sky-scrapers.
